3rd edition of The Whitefield Art Collective to be unveiled at VR Bengaluru
Following the warm response of the last two editions of the Whitefield Art Collective, VR Bengaluru is back with a more exciting third edition. Scheduled for 19th January 2018, the edition will be inaugurated by Krishnamachari Bose.
The art works and installations will be created by eminent and emerging artists from across India. This edition includes more than 100 works, from paintings to sculptures to audio visual installations.
This month-long, flagship art festival by VR Bengaluru brings artists and connoisseurs together through a common platform in a non-gallery setting, to showcase and inspire artists in new formats. The festival will also feature performance art, children’s art competition, art cinema, Art Pop up and an Instagrammers meet up with a theme of Bangalore In Focus, among others.
Students from institutes such as MSU Baroda, Delhi College of Art, JJ School of Art Mumbai, Chandigarh College of Architecture, Government College of Arts, Chandigarh will be showcasing their talents at the event.
Some of the artists whose artworks will be on display are Rajesh PS, Yati Jaiswal, Mayadhar Sahu, Shobin Bhattacharjee, Mukesh Singh, Kanwal Pal and Shubham Agarwal.
