COMIO ranks #1 in brand satisfaction basis CMR BudgetSmartphones Channel Audit Survey 2018

India is no longer the market that was dominated by a handful of handset makers. Today, we have a new entrant every day, trying to set a foothold in the minds of the consumers.

however, rarely do you see a lot of them succeed. Some brands eventually pull out of the race and retire. But some, continue to do some great work with their devices and support. One such brand, that has gotten things right in the mid-segment is COMIO. The Chinese smartphone maker has been making the right moves across.

The brand has now received an overwhelming response on “Overall Brand Satisfaction” according to the CyberMedia Research on Budget Smartphones Channel Audit Survey 2018. The research report captures the preferences and perspectives of traditional multi-brand smartphone retailers around ‘Value for Money’ (<INR 10,000) Smartphone segment. COMIO is the only new brand with a positive and healthy Net Promoter Score.

The response towards the brand has been tremendous, not just from consumers but also our distributors and retailers. We are thrilled to have scored the highest rank in both product quality & sales support by CMR and are overwhelmed to be announced as #1 company under emerging smartphone brands.”


In the ‘Value for money’ segment, COMIO ranked the charts and scored the highest leaving all the other budget brands behind. This is a result of COMIO’s product and R&D team that has worked relentlessly to pack smartphones with utmost attention.

In terms of product satisfaction, we have scored decently on quality (82%), pricing (84%), reliability (83%), aesthetics (83%), packaging (81%) and the most important of all, performance (82%).

In terms of Sales Support, having entered the India market only recently, retailers have given a thumbs-up to COMIO (88%) and have ranked it as the top recommended brands. To be a recommended brand at an early stage that we are at, how the brand motivates is by activities like trade/sell out schemes, extensive training to sales team, promotional offers, product margins and credit period.

Being recognised as top 3 company for ‘after-sales’ and ‘marketing efforts’, it is a big achievement for COMIO. Right from day one of the products being available in the market, we made it a point to make the lives of our consumers easy, be it through our smartphones or the services. With respect to COMIO’s marketing, the team is engaging with target audience at all levels of communication- on-ground activations, digital campaigns, radio and outdoor.

In ‘Distribution’, COMIO scores high for availability of running models, as well as for on-time delivery.
